TL Rob Murray

Rob is a graduate of Reading University Zoology department. He has undertaken research into Audouin's Gull populations, participated in a ringing project at a wagtail roost, and studied Flightless Cormorants in The Galapagos Islands where he was a resident guide for a year. As well as being an experienced ornithologist, Rob is very keen on mammals and insects, especially bats and dragonflies. Rob has led tours for Naturetrek to The Galapagos Islands, the Amazonian area of Ecuador, Cyprus, Jordan, Morocco and Poland. He has travelled within Southern Africa in search of wildlife. He enjoys sharing knowledge with other enthusiasts and was an inspirational teacher of biology for many years. Now settled on the coastal border of Norfolk and Suffolk, Rob spends most of his time either birding or contributing to wildlife surveys.
