Stephen Barlow

Stephen has had a lifelong interest in the natural world since he was a young child back in the 1960s. His first interests were butterflies and aquatic invertebrates, though these have expanded over the years to include all areas of natural history, and these days he describes himself as ‘a jack of all trades, master of none’! Stephen holds a degree in ecology and is an experienced macro photographer, with further interests in photographing birds and landscapes. Most of all, however, he enjoys connecting people with the natural world, and helping them to discover the remarkable species that can be found on our doorsteps.
