Duncan Dine

Taking early retirement nearly five years ago, Duncan has focussed on developing a deeper and broader knowledge of the natural world and local sites in Gloucestershire.  A birder for over 30 years, Duncan has participated in a local Cotswold breeding atlas as well as RSPB and BTO surveys and as an active member of Butterfly Conservation, has also carried out surveys for local Duke of Burgundy populations and wider stewardship recording.  Botanically, Duncan has a deep passion, especially for UK orchids and several years ago successfully set himself the target of finding 28 species in Gloucestershire including rediscovering some species at historic sites. Further afield, Duncan is a keen traveller in search of worldwide wildlife.
