Dominic Couzens

Dominic Couzens

Dominic Couzens is one of Britain's best known and most prolific writers on birds, mammals and natural history, having authored or co-authored well over 30 books, as well as hundreds of articles in all sorts of publications, from Birdwatching magazine to Travel Africa, and from Nature's Home (RSPB) to the Telegraph. He has also spent the last 30 years as a tour leader, particularly within Britain, where he particularly loves to describe what the birds and animals are doing, as well as identifying them. He lives in Dorset and runs a website and club for a small, largely unheralded local patch, two draughty reservoirs known as Longham Lakes. His occasional TV appearances have included a short guest stint on Harry Hill's TV Burp.
