Rolin Raymondi
Rolin Flores Raymondi is a Peruvian birding and nature guide from the Yine community of Diamante, in Manu National Park. From a young age, he spent countless hours studying the birds of the Amazon rainforest and the cloud forest, developing a deep love for nature.
A passionate birdwatcher and explorer of new birding routes, Rolin loves discovering and documenting little-known birding locations, always aiming to share his enthusiasm with others. He has led groups through diverse Peruvian and wider South American ecosystems, including the Atlantic Forest (Mata Atlântica), the Cerrado, and the Ceará region in Brazil.
Fluent in Yine, Machiguenga, Spanish, English, and Portuguese, Rolin combines expert ornithological knowledge with a unique understanding of Amazonian and Andean native communities. His dedication to logging every sighting in eBird reflects his commitment to citizen science and conservation. His personal records 1,515 bird species in Peru and 2,157 in South America place him among the leading bird experts on the continent.
