Lol Bodini

Laurence, known to everyone as ‘Lol’, grew up in London and has been a keen birder since his early teens, with a particular passion for South American birds. He currently works at Walthamstow Wetlands in London (Europe's largest urban wetland) for the London Wildlife Trust, assisting the daily running of a busy visitor centre and guiding local walks – he gains much pleasure from sharing his passion for birds with others!

With a love for travelling to new places, Lol has travelled extensively in many parts of the world in pursuit of great birding experiences including Venezuela, Brazil, Thailand, Cambodia, India and Morocco. Furthermore, he makes regular trips to southern France (Provence and the Camargue) to visit family and has become particularly fond of the region's birds and other wildlife. He started guiding for Naturetrek in 2023 and is very excited to join our team of leaders!
