Levon Harutyunyan is a conservation biologist and ornithologist with more than 12 years’ experience in the study and protection of Armenia’s birdlife and its habitats, across both academic institutions and the NGO sector. Since 2015, he has been leading birdwatching groups, sharing his expertise and enthusiasm with participants from around the world – ranging from complete beginners to highly experienced birders.
His deep knowledge of local habitats and key birding sites ensures consistently rewarding days in the field, while his interest in Armenia’s history and cultural traditions adds an enriching dimension to his tours.
