Wildlife Holidays by Train
We are delighted to have partnered with Byway, a B Corp and leading flight-free travel planner, to offer a low-carbon alternative to flying for Naturetrek tours across Europe. Using first-of-its-kind routing technology and two million miles of local expertise, Byway to build trip by land and sea designed with enjoyment in mind. This exciting partnership allows us to offer Naturetrek clients the option to travel easily to and from their Naturetrek holiday by train, with overnight accommodation (typically in a beautiful town or city en route!) included as part of the travel package.
Travelling by train not only reduces the carbon cost of travel by up to 90% versus flying, but also allows you to choose enjoyment over speed and to see and experience more as part of the journey to and from your Naturetrek holiday.
- Suggested journeys are available for our tours by visiting Byway's website here. These are very much suggestions... each journey can be adjusted to your preferences and requirements!
- On-demand support via WhatsApp is provided throughout your journey
- All transport and accommodation is included.
- Byway will ensure that you arrive at the starting city/town the night before the Naturetrek tour begins (accommodation will be included with your Byway journey for that night). You will then simply need to arrive at the starting point for the Naturetrek tour by the appointed time the following day.
- Please do not book your Byway journey until we have confirmed that your Naturetrek tour is a confirmed departure and provided you with meeting/departure timings. You can, of course, get a quote from Byway before then.
- Byway can provide one-way or return options. For most tours, we can offer a one-way flight if you choose to travel with Byway on just the outbound or just the return journey.
- If your Naturetrek tour isn't currently listed, it doesn't mean that it isn't possible to reach it by train! Please still contact Byway for more information and a quote.
