Gini Whitlock – Reservations & Customer Support Manager

Gini is the manager of our very busy Reservations and Customer Support team which deals with incoming enquiries by telephone, email and through our website. All bookings are processed by the Reservations and Customer Support team who compile and send out the pre-departure information for your wonderful holidays with us! Gini’s goal is to develop and provide a helpful and friendly team to assist with any queries you may have regarding our holidays. She is also the ‘go to’ person to help with insurance queries.

Gini came to work for Naturetrek in 1997 after spending a few years in the Falkland Islands where she was employed by the Falkland Islands Tourist Board. Gini would often be found at the airport to greet international passengers and deliver a wildlife briefing before they started their stay on the islands. Apart from arranging tours of the Islands, including those for Naturetrek, much of her time was spent exploring in her Series II Land Rover with a trusty hammer to get the starter motor running. Fascinated by the abundance of wildlife she would spend countless hours watching the penguins’ antics, from the cross-looking Rockhoppers to the aloof Kings who tried desperately to keep their chicks from investigating her rucksack and bootlaces. Another favourite pastime was to check on a pod of orcas who would frequent the bay at Goose Green and watching the elephant seals (from a safe distance) at Bertha’s Beach.
