Summary

This gentle-paced journey through the heart of Georgia offers a rich blend of natural history, cultural heritage, and scenic beauty. After taking a direct flight to the country’s capital, Tbilisi, we will be immersed in the country’s warm hospitality and sweeping landscapes. We will transfer to the spa town of Borjomi, our carefully chosen base for the holiday.

During our week we will visit Nadarbazevi and Tabatskuri Lakes, where flocks of ducks, waders, and terns gather in abundance. The surrounding highlands also offer excellent opportunities to observe raptors and wildflowers, while a visit to a local winery adds a wonderful cultural and culinary dimension to the tour. The pace remains unhurried, with ample time for photography, quiet observation, and enjoying the scenery.

The tour concludes with a visit to the atmospheric Green Monastery, offering a moment of reflection before departure. This is a journey for those who appreciate nature at a slower rhythm, with time to savour each encounter.
