Suriname, nestled within the Guiana Shield biodiversity hotspot of north-east South America and bordered by Guyana, French Guiana, and Brazil, is a true hidden gem. Despite its small size, Suriname boasts an astonishing 93% forest cover – the highest on Earth – offering unparalleled opportunities for wildlife exploration.

Below we present a small selection of the photographs taken by participant Tony Bradshaw on our Suriname – South America's Hidden Gem holiday in March 2026. To view the images larger, please click on the crosshairs in the centre of each image.
