South Africa – Wildlife & Cricket 2026/7: Register Your Interest Now!

Following the success of our previous 'Wildlife & Cricket' tours to South Africa (including a Naturetrek group being present at the famous 'Matthew Hoggard Test' in Johannesburg in January 2005!), we’re excited to offer this unique combination once again when the England Test cricket team tour from December 2026 to February 2027 to play three Test matches, three One-Day Internationals, and three Twenty20 Internationals.

Depending on interest levels, we propose to organise up to three special Naturetrek tours to coincide with these matches (though the schedule will not be released for some time yet), with our provisional plans including:

1. A birding and mammal-focused tour built around the Newlands Test in Cape Town
2. A birding and mammal-focused tour built around the three One Day Internationals
3. A tour combining Kruger with the Test at the Wanderers stadium in Johannesburg
