Scottish Highlands: Stay in the exclusive Alladale Lodge this spring
We still have some rooms remaining to stay at the exclusive Alladale Lodge in the remote Scottish Highlands this spring!
For the last 5 years we have taken exclusive use of this fantastic lodge and enjoyed the wilderness, wildlife and unbeatable hospitality. With outings to explore the 23,000-acre Alladale reserve, our groups have enjoyed a wide range of species including Golden Eagles, Ring Ouzels, Black Grouse and Cuckoos, with Ptarmigan on the high tops and Red Squirrels and Red Deer close to the lodge. In addition, we will learn about the reserves re-wilding project, which has seen over 1 million trees planted to create a flourishing habitat.
We will also visit the Scottish Wild Cat breeding enclosure to see and learn about this iconic species and take two days away from Alladale to visit Loch Fleet and Handa Island. A range of wildfowl and waders, Osprey and White-tailed Eagle have been seen at Loch Fleet, while a visit to Handa Island reveals bustling sea bird colonies with Puffins, Razorbills and Guillemots while Great and Arctic Skuas patrol the skies.
