Yusuf Rizvi

Yusuf hails from the city of Nawabs, Lucknow, in Uttar Pradesh. His passion for wildlife began in his childhood when his father’s friend invited them to Katarniyaghat Wildlife Sanctuary. After completing his science degree, Yusuf started working for a multinational company, until eventually the pull of wildlife and wildlife photography was too strong to ignore, and he decided to do quit the corporate world and instead pursue a career that he really loves! Yusuf is a professionally trained naturalist and has an experience of over 15 years of working as a naturalist guide, expedition leader and as the general manager of a premier lodge in central India. He was part of the team which was involved in the radio collaring of a sub-adult Tiger in Pench Tiger Reserve in 2009. Yusuf was also a part of the first Aircel ‘Save Our Tiger Telethon’ aired on NDTV (an Indian news channel), hosted by a famous Bollywood actor, Mr Amitabh Bachchan!
