Will Manson
Will was born and raised in Caithness, where the Highlands and rugged coastlines sparked his early passion for birds and wildlife. From a young age he developed a keen interest in wildlife, spending many hours exploring and observing species in remote environments. Spending the majority of his career working globally in the offshore survey sector, he now works as a freelance Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) and ornithological specialist on a variety of commercial projects, monitoring compliance with wildlife legislation, including protected Schedule 1 species. Will holds a Schedule 1 license and has particular experience in upland birds and raptors. Will brings a friendly, down-to-earth approach to his tour leading, combining professional experience with genuine enthusiasm for sharing wildlife with others. He continues to spend much of his free time birding and photographing wildlife.
