Swanand (Swan) was born and raised in Pune, where his fascination with the natural world began during school trips to the jungles. These early adventures sparked a lifelong passion for wildlife, leading him to channel his love for nature and photography into a profession. Over the years, Swan has grown into a distinguished natural history photographer and filmmaker, capturing the wild in all its untamed beauty. Swan's experience as a resident naturalist in Satpura, Kanha, Pench and Tadoba helped him to hone his skills in both guiding and storytelling, making him a sought-after expert in the field. He is also dedicated to training the next generation of naturalists and wildlife photographers, sharing his knowledge and inspiring young enthusiasts to embrace the wild. Swan’s commitment to conservation is unwavering, and whether he is guiding a wildlife expedition or mentoring aspiring naturalists, Swan’s passion for birdwatching and wildlife conservation leaves an indelible mark on everyone he meets.
