Graham Clarkson
Graham has been birding in the Southport area since 1977. He worked at WWT Martin Mere between 1983 and 1991, followed by spells at Castle Espie and Slimbridge. During the 1990s he spent nearly four years working and birding in Abu Dhabi, including two fieldwork seasons in Kazakhstan looking at MacQueens Bustards. Graham spent seven years working for RSPB on the Ribble estuary. He has previously guided birding trips in Extremadura, Andalucia, Majorca, the Carmargue, Lesbos, Hungary, Finland and Florida. His favourite birds are Pink-footed Geese and his favourite destinations are Mull, Kakadu and Monfrague. He tries to fit some birding most days at Marshside or Martin Mere!
