Emily-Louise Griffin is a passionate field naturalist with a particular interest in birds, fungi and mammals. She has been co-leading tours for the past four years, guiding groups across the New Forest and along the south coast, where her enthusiasm and keen eye consistently enhance the wildlife experience for guests.

Emily plays a leading role in the ongoing Pine Marten studies in the New Forest, contributing extensive fieldwork hours to monitoring, camera trapping and data collection. Her work forms part of a long-term effort to better understand the distribution, ecology and conservation of this elusive species within southern England.

A trainee bird ringer, Emily is actively involved in ringing activities throughout the year, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of woodland and wetland species. She also runs the New Forest's Wildlife Explorers Group for young naturalists and coordinates the group’s residential wildlife camps, mentoring the next generation of conservationists and helping them develop practical field skills and confidence!
