Viivi Vilkko – Flights Assistant

As part of the flights team, Viivi's daily tasks include booking flights, issuing flight tickets, following flight changes closely and staying informed about any international travel disruptions that could affect client travel, so that action can be taken swiftly to minimise the impact and keep operations running as smoothly as possible. She also responds to feedback from some of our tours, helping to maintain quality control and client satisfaction!

Viivi was born in Finland and grew up surrounded by the nature of South Karelia until 2021, when she moved to the UK to complete her Law LLB and MSc International Relations degrees at Royal Holloway, University of London. Having spent years studying International Environmental Law and Regulation, she now values working with a team that makes considerable efforts to achieve more sustainable travel. Lately, her own travels have consisted primarily of the London Heathrow to Helsinki flight route(!) where she enjoys spending time at her family Finnish summer cottage, berry picking and being by the lake in summer and ice skating in the winter. She also enjoys exploring the forests and the seaside of Estonia. Apart from several places in Europe, she has also visited the rainforests and beaches of Panama and now hopes to continue to see many more countries in the near future!
