Annie Dale – Reservations & Customer Support Manager

Annie manages our Reservations and Customer Support team, which is the first point of contact at our office, whether by telephone, email or through our website. Our team processes all the bookings and payments, including compiling and sending out the pre-departure information for your holidays, as well as being happy to assist with any queries clients have regarding our tours. In addition to managing client bookings, Annie and her team also assist other areas of the business such as event logistics, specifically our in-person winter roadshow and consumer shows such as Global Birdfair. Annie still has vivid memories about her first Naturetrek holiday to Zambia as a client; this proved how passionate Naturetrek is about the client experience and she aspires to deliver the same excellent service!

Life Before Naturetrek

Annie’s previous roles have all been within customer service and she gains satisfaction from ensuring the solution for each client, albeit a different solution, is the right one for them. Her interest in the natural world, inspired by her primary school teacher who would stop lessons to show the class the first Fieldfares or an egg box full of stinkhorns (still an evocative smell today!), resulted in taking her children exploring from an early age, hoping they gained an appreciation of the natural world. Annie enjoys seeking out the wilder places, from Alaska to Zambia and many countries in between, and now her family are older looks forward to travelling further afield. Her son, a keen photographer, now understands the patience needed to gain maximum results, something she and her husband instilled in him at an early age when watching hares locally or dolphins off Mull (and of course Annie still hunts out stinkhorns!).
