New South Devon in Spring Tour

We’re delighted to be able to offer a new ‘South Devon in Spring’ 4-day tour that visits a number of the region’s iconic sites for wildlife, including the Exe Estuary, Dawlish Warren and Dartmoor.

In the company of a local expert naturalist, a range of habitats will be explored in search of the resident wildlife and newly arrived migrants. From the coastal margins where we will be looking for Fulmar, Manx Shearwater, Gannets and Peregrines through the Exe Marshes with its waders and warblers to the woods and heathlands of Dartmoor that shelter Stonechat, Whinchat, Hobby, Skylark, Tree Pipit and Crossbill, there is sure to be plenty to see.

During the tour we will also be hoping to locate some of the rarer species that can be found in this part of the country including Cirl Bunting, Pied Flycatcher, Wood Warbler, Ring Ouzel, Pearl-bordered Fritillary and Scarce Chaser Dragonfly.

You are also welcome to extend your stay to visit historic Exeter or part of the Jurassic Coastline.
