Will Crombie – Operations Assistant

Will joined Naturetrek at the beginning of 2024 and assists with the daily administration of a variety of tours across Europe, Africa and Asia, regularly communicating with ground agents and tour leaders, as well as answering enquiries and ensuring clients receive their travel arrangements.

Life Before Naturetrek

Will graduated from The University of Exeter where he studied BSc Geography, focusing on Biodiversity and Ecosystems with a dissertation examining, and modelling, the impact of elephant population management techniques. His academic background has provided him with a particularly strong foundation on the topics of global climate, sustainability, biodiversity and habitats. Over the years, his passions for photography/cinematography and wildlife have combined to develop a deep love of the natural world, with him wishing to spend every spare minute looking to photograph new wildlife encounters – he can often be found in Petworth Park with a camera in hand!

When travelling, Will prefers to tailor his trips to target seeing a specific animal… and is often successful! He has held a lifelong passion for photography and was shortlisted for the BBC Young Photographer of the Year in 2017, and six of his images shortlisted for the prestigious British Wildlife Photography Awards in 2018.
