Leah Hogg – Reservations & Customer Support

Leah joined Naturetrek in October 2023. As a member of our Reservations and Customer Support team, her role covers every aspect of the reservations journey, from initial customer contact, to the booking process and the important ongoing customer support. She particularly enjoys going on a virtual ‘world tour’ every day as she helps customers match their interests and ambitions with options offered across our full range of natural history tours.

Life Before Naturetrek

With a passion for travel and nature, Leah has travelled to 25 countries across 6 continents. Her highlights include the Galápagos (meeting Lonesome George), going on safari in Botswana and learning to scuba dive on the Great Barrier Reef.

She graduated from Reading University with a degree in Psychology in 2019, going on to work in both the social housing and hospitality sectors before joining Naturetrek. During her student years, she also worked as a qualified lifeguard and had a short summer assignment assisting at Blackpool Zoo. Her voluntary roles have included acting as a distributor for a local food bank, and undertaking community support projects in both Malawi (helping to build a school) and Fiji (assisting at a turtle conservatory facility).

Sport, walking, music and theatre have also featured significantly in Leah’s life. In sport, she captained her school team to gold and silver medals at a national swimming competition in Sheffield, won a bronze medal at Judo and was selected for Hampshire District Cricket as a wicketkeeper/batter.
