Raul Guarnizo

Raul, who was born in Colombia in 1978, has lived and worked in Brazil since 1997. During his first 8 years in Brazil, Raul was a professional teacher of both English and Spanish in language schools. In 2002, Raul trained as an official tour guide at the Federal Institute of Mato Grosso and immediately began guiding ecotours in English at a number of the leading Pantanal eco-lodges. Raul started leading for Naturetrek in 2014 and in the last four years has become a leading guide of Jaguar tours while perfecting his knowledge of the important birds of the Pantanal. Raul is charming, outgoing, and worldly, and earns outstanding reviews from our guests.
