WHAT YOU'VE BEEN SAYING ABOUT OUR Bargain Birds HOLIDAYS
This was an outstanding trip and Suchit is an excellent ornithologist... He was tenacious in searching out our wishlist birds, especially the elusive Ibisbill. Ground organisation was impeccable - whether it was a jeep, aircraft, dugout canoe or elephant, all arrived on time and took us where we wanted. The birds were great... but the mammals (leopard included), the culture, the company and the accommodation were bonuses.
Throughout the trip food was varied and plentiful, even for us vegetarians. Cliff Waller was an excellent, well organised and empathetic leader. Omar was an excellent cultural guide and ambassador. He handled tricky situations with sensitivity and good humour. The driver was an amiable, patient and most obliging person who took frequent demands for ‘Stop!’ all in his stride. Finally, we enjoyed the company of the other group members. Their knowledge of birds, and sense of fun, helped to make this a memorable and enjoyable experience for us both.
A great trip - quality birds, easy pace, good group and excellent leaders ... Chris Kehoe was one of the sharpest birders I have been led by...Ill definitely be using Naturetrek again.
