A two night visit to the private Shompole Wilderness, with a flight over Lake Magadi to photography the lake patterns and flamingoes in flight. Spend evenings in an overnight hide by a waterhole.

Summary

Shompole lies near the Tanzania border. Helicopter flights over the soda lakes offer great photography opportunities for patterns across the waters surface and, hopefully, flamingoes in flight. We will use an overnight hide situated by a waterhole, where caracal, striped hyena, leopard and lion, among others, may appear. Exact costs will depend on numbers, enquire for SRS availability and costs.
