To the right is a list of tour leaders that accompany you on your tour. All our leaders are expert naturalists. They will be able to show you, and help you to identify, many of the birds, plants and mammals that occur in the region that you are visiting. Please note however, that whilst we assign leaders to particular tours well in advance, we reserve the right to make changes if necessary.

Cecilia Herrera
Cecilia Herrera Cecilia is a biologist and has worked since 1988 as a professional guide, naturalist and field ornithologist, leading bird tours throughout Venezuela. She has had the pleasure to work with Naturetrek groups for the past five years, generating an outstanding level of client satisfaction. One well known neotropical ornithologist says "Cecilia’s field ornithological skills and knowledge, including ability to identify birds rapidly by sight and by vocalization, today rank her among a select and elite few within her country.
Kevin Elsby
Kevin Elsby
is a full time GP living in north Norfolk. He has had a lifelong interest in birds and has developed a broad interest in many other aspects of natural history. He is a life member of the British Dragonfly Society and a licensed bird ringer. He has travelled extensively in the UK and Europe as part of his hobby and has also visited North America, the Caribbean, Africa and Australia. In addition he is an experienced wildlife photographer and has recently achieved his ARPS distinction in wildlife photography with the Royal Photographic Society. Kevin has recently completed a Masters in Wildlife Biology and Conservation in addition to his BSc in natural sciences. This has enhanced his knowledge of conservation issues, including ecology, as well as other related subjects, such as geology and evolution. He has a particular interest in the wildlife and environments of the Arctic and Antarctic regions and also tropical rainforests. Kevin has featured on "Inside Out" shown on BBC1 discussing the birdlife of Norfolk.
Peter Dunn
Peter Dunn Peter was born in Goole, East Yorkshire and is retired from the Police Service, where he was a police wildlife liaison officer for 12 years. He has been a keen birder for over 40 years and organised the setting up and running of the Filey Brigg Bird Observatory in Yorkshire, where he looks after and controls the bird ringing. He is a full trainer for the bird ringing scheme in the UK. He has birded throughout most of England, Scotland and Wales, whilst overseas trips have included Spain, France, Poland, Malta, the Balearic Islands, Israel, Central and North America and the Caribbean. Peter's main interest is in Western Palaearctic species (and races) and he gives talks on local bird topics to bird and natural history groups but has an interest in all forms of wildlife.
