International Animal Rescue Tours

The pitiful spectacle of captive Sloth Bears being forced to ‘dance’ for the ‘entertainment’ of crowds is one that is fortunately now illegal but despite official prohibition many of these cruelly abused creatures can still be seen performing on the streets of India. International Animal rescue is an organization dedicated to eradicating this barbaric practice and has established a sanctuary near Agra where performing bears rescued from the streets can be accommodated in peaceful surroundings to recover from their traumas and enjoy a comfortable remainder of their lives. Ten percent of the cost of the following holiday will be donated to the IAR bear project and during the course of the tour itinerary we will be visiting the Agra sanctuary to observe how the miserable existence of the dancing bears has been transformed for the fortunate individuals accommodated within.

India - International Animal Rescue
Description: A 10-day holiday to India in conjunction with International Animal Rescue (IAR). The tour will visit the Taj Mahal at Agra, the Bears, the Tigers at the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve and Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary.
