You may well have enjoyed Nisar Malik and Mark Smith's BBC Natural World film 'Snow Leopard - Beyond the Myth' last weekend. It was a truly fabulous piece of filming!
Naturetrek has previously offered Snow Leopard treks in Bhutan (and may well do so again), having on one occasion been fortunate enough to encounter a mother and three cubs. However, as in most of the Snow Leopard's range, access and walking in such high and remote areas is very challenging!
By contrast, the area in which Nisar and Mark's film was made is accessible (if tough!), and we plan to recce this region within the next couple of months. In this instance, we are taking the unusual step of offering you the opportunity to join this recce (though you will need a keen sense of adventure!).
