Join us at the Birdfair
Once again, we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the annual British Birdwatching Fair, co-sponsored by Naturetrek, and held at Rutland Water from Friday, 20th August to Sunday, 22nd August 2010 (inclusive). We will be in marquee 2, on stands 38 & 39. We also invite you to join us for a drink and ‘nibbles’ (which is kindly sponsored this year by Tourism Tasmania) on Saturday, 21st August, at 4.30pm. Please do join us. A great many of our tour leaders and ground operators will be attending, as well as our staff who will include Paul Stanbury, Paul Dukes, Andy Tucker, Gwen Owen, Rajan Jolly and Byron Palacios. Each year the Birdfair raises funds for a particular project which, this year, is ‘Saving Southern Ethiopia’s Endemic Birds’.
As we have been operating a range of tours in Ethiopia for nearly 25 years, and the country is a particular favourite of ours, we will be running a special Birdfair departure to Ethiopia in Jan/Feb 2011, led by Birdfair organiser Tim Appleton, focusing on the Endemic Birds of Southern Ethiopia. 10% of the income from this holiday will be donated by Naturetrek to this year’s Birdfair project!
